The program combines consultations, guidance, and interactive activities to foster a culture of prevention among employees
From April 27 to 30, Aeris Energy is hosting a special program focused on occupational health and safety in celebration of Green April. With activities centered at the Matriz Community Center and mobile events in operational areas, the initiative engages employees in preventive practices and ongoing efforts to promote well-being in the workplace.
Throughout the week, the schedule includes health check-ups, discussion groups, and interactive activities. On the 27th and 28th, in partnership with CERESTE, discussion groups will be held on mental health, vaccination, and prevention, in addition to offering rapid tests, massage therapy, and auriculotherapy (a therapeutic technique derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine and recognized by the WHO), at times that accommodate different shifts. On the 29th and 30th, the partnership with Hapvida will provide services such as blood pressure checks, blood glucose testing, bioimpedance analysis, and guidance on oral, mental, and physical health.
The program also includes initiatives focused on workplace safety, with practical and educational activities taking place on the 27th and 28th. These include activities such as safety quizzes, risk identification challenges, and interactive games that reinforce the proper use of personal protective equipment. To complement these initiatives, the company conducts safety blitzes during the so-called “Gembas,” featuring direct interactions in operational areas and symbolic check-ins that reinforce team engagement.
“Building a safe environment requires routine practices, dialogue, and collective awareness. By integrating health and safety into a single agenda, we reinforce our commitment to making prevention a daily practice, with a direct impact on quality of life and operations,” says Marcos Valenzi Rabello, Executive Manager of Health, Occupational Safety, and the Environment at Aeris.
The initiative continues a recurring company agenda within the scope of Green April. Since 2016, Aeris has promoted approximately 3,000 initiatives focused on health and safety, reaching 15,000 employees, reinforcing team engagement and the consolidation of preventive practices in day-to-day operations. One of the initiative’s key outcomes is the evolution of the safety culture, reflected in greater risk awareness, adherence to procedures, and a reduction in workplace incidents. The initiative is part of Aeris’s strategy to strengthen an organizational culture focused on prevention, safety, and caring for people, aligning daily practices with a safer, more conscious, and healthier work environment.
