For Aeris, sustainability is an inseparable part of the business. Thus, its ESG agenda - COMMITTED TO the social and economic development OF THE COMMUNITIES SURROUNDING THE pecem industrial complex, valuing environmental preservation and aligned with best governance practices - has been strengthened over the years with practices that aim to integrate sustainability into all of the Company's strategies. Always attentive to the socio-environmental impacts of its activities, it seeks to mitigate the negative ones and enhance the positive ones through risk and impact management.
Since 2016, Aeris Energy has been a signatory to the Global Compact and is committed to the Global SDG Agenda - an initiative created by the UN in 2015 to meet the 2030 Agenda. It comprises 17 interconnected objectives that aim to promote the construction of a more humane, fair and healthy future for all people.
