Sustainability
Reports

Aeris Energy, the largest wind turbine blade producer in Brazil, has been publishing its Sustainability Report since 2016, following the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). In the report, we highlight the significant efforts and achievements we have made in the last year.

The document presents commitments and initiatives related to the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) agenda, in addition to economic, social, operational, and environmental performance, as well as our corporate governance and compliance practices, highlighting our commitment to transparency and business ethics.

Our initiatives

  • We manufacture in-house collectors for selective waste collection, using them in our areas, which have been developed with process waste, such as leftover fiber fabric, resins and hardeners, presenting a sustainable solution
    in the final disposal of waste;
  • We have implemented various other internal reuse actions, including the reuse of plastic accessories from the production process, paper/cardboard, among others;
  • We have actions aimed at the circular economy, in order to minimize the impact of plastic on nature;
  • We choose biodegradable products in our purchases, always looking for those that cause the least environmental impact. This choice reflects our commitment to contributing to environmental preservation;
  • We transform organic waste into fertilizer through our composting process, to be used in our Reforestation Area;
  • In addition, we have set goals for recycling, which allows us to monitor and advance our actions;
  • 100% of our recyclable waste is sent to licensed recyclers.
  • We have completed the construction of a new Water and Effluent Treatment Plant with the capacity to serve a community of 13,000 inhabitants. Equipped with Reverse Osmosis technology, this plant allows for the reuse of water and contributes to reducing consumption of this resource;
  • We purchase 100% energy from renewable sources for use in our manufacturing plants, and we are certified with I-REC, which verifies this acquisition.

We maintain a reforestation area with thousands of native plants, with the aim of promoting preservation and care for the environment.

Our Reforestation Area:

  • Total area of 20.6 hectares;
  • Planting of 31,193 thousand native seedlings from 2021 to 2024;
  • More than 30 different types of trees planted;
  • More than 21 types of animal species catalogued in the area.
