The 2025 Sustainability Report highlights zero Scope 2 emissions for the third consecutive year, international expansion of Aeris Services, and investments in technology, quality, and social development.
Aeris Energy, a leader in the manufacture of wind turbine blades in Latin America, has just released its 2025 Sustainability Report, a document that brings together the company’s main environmental, social, economic and governance results throughout a year marked by challenges for the Brazilian wind industry. In a scenario of structural constraints in the sector, the company reinforced its strategy of operational discipline, revenue diversification, technological innovation and commitment to the energy transition.
Throughout 2025, Aeris produced 324 wind turbine blades and achieved 1.3 GW in contracts for the supply of equipment. Even in the face of an environment impacted by increased curtailment levels and reduced market demand, the company ended the year with 1.0 GW in a pipeline of new projects, in different stages of negotiation.
According to Douglas Souza, director of quality and engineering, the results reflect the company’s ability to maintain its long-term strategy even in a challenging period for the sector. “I believe that 2025 demanded considerable resilience, financial responsibility, and operational discipline from Aeris. In an adverse context for the entire wind energy chain, we remain focused on preserving the sustainability of the business, strengthening our competitiveness, and preparing the company to seize the opportunities that will arise with the gradual recovery of the market,” he comments.
The report also highlights the strengthening of the company’s innovation and operational excellence strategy. In 2025, Aeris incorporated new technologies for asset inspection and monitoring, including drones, autonomous robots, and advanced connectivity solutions for remote environments. In the area of quality, the company recorded record results in international audits and maintained globally recognized certifications, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
“The continuous pursuit of operational excellence is one of the pillars of our strategy. We invest in technology, quality, and process improvement because we understand that efficiency, safety, and reliability are decisive factors for Aeris’ competitiveness in any market scenario,” emphasizes the executive.
One of the main highlights of the period was the expansion of Aeris Services, a specialized services unit that came to represent 22.1% of the company’s Net Operating Revenue (NOR), a growth of 11.4 percentage points compared to the previous year. The operation expanded its international presence, reaching ten countries, and made progress in building a training center in the United States, with the capacity to train up to 30 specialized technicians per month.
“The evolution of Aeris Services demonstrates the importance of diversification for strengthening the business. By expanding our operations in specialized services and broadening our international presence, we have created new revenue streams and reinforced Aeris’ position as a global solutions company for the wind energy sector,” he states.
On the environmental agenda, the company achieved zero Scope 2 emissions for the third consecutive year, a result made possible by the full use of renewable energy certified through International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs). Aeris also continued its biodiversity conservation and reforestation efforts, surpassing the mark of 31,000 seedlings of native Caatinga species planted since 2021, in addition to maintaining permanent wildlife monitoring and environmental recovery programs in areas surrounding its operations.
Social commitment also remained an integral part of the corporate strategy. In 2025, the company expanded community relations initiatives, socio-environmental projects, and corporate volunteering programs, benefiting more than 950 people through the actions supported throughout the year.
In terms of governance, the company reinforced its integrity and compliance practices, promoting 65 initiatives related to the Integrity Program and reaching 85% of employees with training focused on disseminating an ethical culture and preventing risks.
For Aeris, the progress recorded throughout the period reinforces a vision of sustainability integrated into the business, capable of generating value for employees, customers, investors, communities, and partners. “The indicators presented in this report show that sustainability, innovation, operational efficiency, and value creation go hand in hand. We are building the foundations for a new cycle of growth for Aeris, supported by a more resilient operation, mature processes, a global presence, and a team prepared for the challenges of the energy transition,” he concludes.
